Arsonist jailed for sectarian attack

A 20 year old Londonderry man has been sentenced to four years in prison for setting fire to a crowded Apprentice Boys Memorial Hall in the city.

Several hundred people had been enjoying a night out in the hall when Caolan Kavanagh from Hampstead Park poured petrol around the door of the Society Street venue and set it alight.

The attack was captured on CCTV.

Our north west reporter, Keiron Tourish, has the details.
