Martin Heath was born wearing headphones and carrying a microphone.Ìý His mother has never forgiven him.Ìý While his friends were busy playing with their train sets, he was interviewing anyone who didn't get out of the way quick enough for his own local radio station - broadcasting to all three bedrooms and the lounge.ÌýÌýÌý

He studied the piano for several years trying to work out how to open the lid, and went on to read music at university.Ìý He hammered on the door of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ until they finally let him into ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Northampton in 1994.

He now lives with his wife and three children in Daventry, where he's the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ reporter covering West and South Northamptonshire.ÌýÌý

Martin presents ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Northampton's Sunday Breakfast programme each week and then dashes back to Daventry to play the church organ or tickle the ivories in a worship band.Ìý

He sings in the local choral society, provides the music for a village pantomime and has an interesting sideline in maintaining law and order as a Magistrate.
