The Piano (2)

By Hannah, 11, from Quinton.

I was sat at the musty piano, that smelt damp, but I still played on. I read the crinkled up music with the keys cold on my fingers, black and white keys like penguins across a snowy landscape. My fingers glide across softly (it may be dark I must carry on my visions are so clear right now).

'My wife appeared, she played with me, kissed me and disappeared' she played as if she was actually there. I felt her breath against my cheek. But I could no longer hear her. I want her to be here... now!

'Just then, I had a different vision, I was in the army with my brother. He turned to shoot the man but, the man got him first (he was dead!).

I carried on playing the black piano, only slightly higher as if something good was about to happen. Like a brand new with 3 floors or some think spectacular like that.

'While I was playing I turned into me as a boy. My dad had given me a present. I gripped it. I could smell it was good. I could hear my dad laughing in the background. I pulled the silkily ribbon and say in side. There lay a hobby house made of the finest wood. I went the piano and climbed upon the bench...

'...and there sat my grand son with his bright trainers with white laces, is darker shorts and his green t-shirt with long sleeves that made the room light up! My grandson stood there, I played faster and slightly higher, then got slower and slower until I got to the last two notes. I played one and my grandson played the last high note-every thing disappeared and the light turned on.
