Monday Night Sport v Gymnastics

Jon, Geoff and Tim went to Northampton and County Amateur Athletics Club to do some gymnastics.

It is based at its own facility in Moulton Park with full apparatus, club chairman Kevin Flynn, (who is also Director of England Gymnastics) his wife, Marion, who's a coach at the club, and their daughter - head coach Tracey were their guides.

They had four challenges, starting with the vault run up, springboard on to the vault, hands first, followed by the feetÌý jump down on to the mat. 12 year old Kim from the club demonstrated for the boys, and Geoff was feeling confident:

The club was founded in 1863 and is the oldest Gymnastics club in the country.

In 1888 it founded the National Amateur Gymnastics Association, now known as the British Gymnastics Association, which governs the sports.
