Creggan Country Park hosted its first ever Christmas Tree
Party last month. The aim of the event was to encourage
people to give the gift of a real tree to their family
and friends instead of a Christmas card. On the day volunteers
planted their own tree to help increase biodiversity on
the 100-acre site.
There was also a photo opportunity for tree planters so
they could use their photo as an online Christmas card
for friends.
