At ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio York, I spent hour upon hour sat listening to great interviews from the Moor Music Festival, and band demo's I'd brought along too. Only problem was, I had to somehow edit them all together.

Luckily, I was pretty familiar with editing software from my background in film-making, and from making mock radio shows on my home computer. But a first day can't go without it's problems...

It Wasn't Me...

Lesson number one: Don't keep clicking 'back' on Adobe Audition, because you can't go forward again! Or at least I couldn't, so I ended up losing three hours of work. Score!

A lunch-break and steady breathing into a paper bag saw me back on track and I was able to complete my pieces ready in time for the More Raw program to air that night.

I was pretty used to being in the studio, but it was a little different to be hearing the show air with my voice on it - I was a mix of excitement and laughter. Yorkshire accents are officially fantastic!

So now, I certainly have a taste for the radio side of things. A sign of further things to come? Watch this space!
