Newark Castle Dungeon

The NW corner tower of Newark castle contains a bottle-shaped dungeon. The dungeon is approx 11 feet by 5 feet. Prisoners who entered it rarely came out alive. It's hoped that the dungeon will be open to the public from Saturday, 1st April 2006.
