Iffley Road - Bannister's four minute mile

The photo shows Roger Bannister talking to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Oxford's Bill Heine at the race track on Iffley Road where on May 6, 1954, he ran the first sub-four-minute mile in recorded history. His time was 3 minutes 59.4 seconds.
