Botswana Tourism to sponsor Weather Updates on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ World News

Botswana Tourism Board is seeking to raise awareness of the country among tourists, with a three-month sponsorship of Weather Update programmes on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ World News.

The sponsorship, which will run across the channel’s European, African and Asia Pacific feeds, as well as across the Americas, comprises opening and closing billboards around each programme, alongside adjacent TV advertising executions.

The campaign, which begins this month, will run to the end of June.  The sponsorship uses the line, “Keep up to date with Weather across Africa and Europe, sponsored by Botswana Tourism.â€

Sean O’Hara, Regional Director at ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Worldwide, says: “We’re delighted that Botswana Tourism has returned to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ World News after its activity with us last year.  It shows the value we offer advertisers from the travel sector and demonstrates the scope for commercial creativity on the channel.â€

Myra Sekgororoane, Chief Executive Officer at Botswana Tourism, adds: “ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ World News proved to be an excellent place for us to advertise last year, and we’re confident that we will be similarly satisfied with this new activity.  We’ve created an arresting and targeted campaign that gets our message across to the high quality audience ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ World News offers in a memorable and engaging way.â€
