Croatia goes wild with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Worldwide


ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Worldwide, the commercial consumer arm of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½, has renewed its agreement to provide a ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ branded wildlife schedule to Croatia's national broadcaster, HRT.


The agreement commits ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Worldwide to provide a block of wildlife programming for one year. A one-hour, weekly slot will be branded on HRT schedules as ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ WILD and will showcase leading ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ wildlife productions including the Born to Be Wild series, Big Cat Diary, Wild Down Under and Spy in the Herd.


ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Worldwide Commercial Director, Europe, Middle East, India & Africa, Anita Davison, said, "ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ branded blocks provide networks with an opportunity to strengthen their relationship with viewers by introducing a weekly theme into the schedule. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Worldwide, with its extensive catalogue, is then able to provide a guaranteed flow of high quality ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ programming to support these themes."


HRT Head of Programming, Ms Jasna Buric, said, "ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ is world-renowned for its wildlife programming. HRT's spectators highly appreciate every programme produced by ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½."


ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ branded blocks are broadcast on networks throughout Europe, Asia and Africa. In addition to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Wild, other available branded slots include ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Exclusive (documentary), ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Select (drama), ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Playtime (children) and ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Science.
