ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Worldwide Americas has securedÌýthree new sales of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s landmark Emmy® winning natural history series Planet Earth to broadcasters in Latin America.

The latest broadcasters to sign up for the 11-part series are Canal 12 (El Salvador), Televicentro (Nicaragua) and Telefuturo (Paraguay). The new deals bring total Planet Earth sales to 15 in the region.
Announced today at ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Showcase Latin America in Rio de Janeiro, these new deals once again confirm the series as the most successful Natural History title ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Worldwide Americas has ever sold in Latin America.

Previous salesÌýhave includedÌýTVN (Chile), Globo (Brazil), Ecuavisa (Ecuador), Tele Doce (Uruguay), Canal 11 (Honduras), Canal 11 (Mexico), Señal Colombia (Colombia)Ìýand Teletica (Canal 7).
Filmed in HD, Planet Earth is one of the most ambitious factual series ever commissioned by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½.

A winner of four Emmys including Outstanding Nonfiction Series, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½/Discovery/NHK co-production was filmed in 62 countries, over 4 years, by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Natural History Unit.
