

Five Live Appoints African Caribbean News Specialist

Radio Five Live, the live news and sport station, has appointed
a reporter to specialise in news from the African Caribbean community.
Colin
Joseph, who has worked for National News press agency, Public Finance
magazine, and the Kilburn Times, will investigate issues of pertinence
to BritainÂ’s African Caribbean population, and look at the
dayÂ’s news from the perspective of this community.

Shennan, Controller of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Five Live, said: "Five Live
aims to cover news and issues affecting everyone in Britain, and
the appointment of Colin Joseph will enable us to do this more thoroughly
than ever before. The aim of the post is to make sure we are delivering
the news that is important and relevant to African Caribbean people
in Britain."
