New
Head of Regulatory Legal at the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½
Mark
Burgess has been appointed as the new Head of Regulatory Legal at
the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½.
 Mark,
who was previously Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs and the
Company Secretary of O2(UK), the mobile communications group, has
extensive regulatory experience in the telecoms field.
He
will be dealing with the many regulatory challenges and opportunities
that the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ and broadcasting offers.
Nicholas Eldred, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ General Counsel, said: "I am delighted
that Mark has joined the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ legal team.
"He
is a talented, pragmatic lawyer who brings with him a wide range
of regulatory and legal experience.

is well equipped to assist the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ to achieve its objectives."
Mark
took up the role last month.
