takes over ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Cambridgeshire's mid-morning programme
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½
Radio Cambridgeshire welcomes former ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Northampton presenter
Steve Riches to the station's mid-morning show.
Steve,
who will present the 10.00am to 1.00pm programme from Monday to
Friday, replaces Gerald Main who recently became Editor of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio
Suffolk.
Steve's
broadcasting career spans more than 30 years.
He
has worked for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Five Live, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 4 and was award-winning
breakfast presenter at ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Northampton from 1997 to 2000.
He
also presented the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s evening regional radio show from 1990 to
1997 which went out across the East of England.
Steve's
new show starts on Monday 16 September and aims to sort out listeners'
problems.
It
will also feature leisure, lifestyle, health and consumer issues.
Steve,
who enjoys mountain climbing amongst many other sporting hobbies
promises "it won't be boring or irrelevant!"
