ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE'S hit series Murder In Mind returns

Tara Fitzgerald, James Wilby, Paul Rhys and Natasha Little are to guest star in a new season of Murder In Mind for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE, it was announced today by Jane Tranter, Controller of Drama Commissioning.

Each one-off psychological thriller investigates new ways to murder as each of the killers allow us into their mind to see what it is that makes them commit the ultimate crime.

Mal Young, Controller of Continuing Drama, says: "Both series of Murder In Mind have proved to be a big success for the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ and I am delighted to see it returning.

"This new season of films looks at how some of the most ordinary people can prove capable of committing a murder, and once again we are able to bring some fantastic names to the cast."

Tara Fitzgerald (The Woman In White) plays Elizabeth Morton in Echoes. The action jumps between 1882 and the present day, centring around a Victorian house and the secret that it has kept hidden for years.

In Stalkers, Natasha Little (Man and Boy, This Life) plays Harriet Vezey, a woman who is pushed to her limit when she discovers that she has a stalker.

Future storylines involve an escaped convict who flees to the safety of a remote North Yorkshire pub and takes on a new identity, the last place he expects to be tracked down by a London gangster.

Murder In Mind is filming in and around London and in various locations across the country including Bath and North Yorkshire for transmission later this year and next year.

Produced by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ in association with Paul Knight productions, Murder In Mind is produced by Paul Knight and the executive producer is Mal Young.

Casting details for future Murder In Mind dramas will be announced shortly.
