Christmas Day Boycie fooling around on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Shropshire

On a special Christmas Day show, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Shropshire presenter Chris Ashley will be having a laugh with actor John Challis of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE's Only Fools and Horses.

John "Boycie" Challis with Chris Ashley
John, who plays Boycie in the popular television comedy, was accompanied by his wife Carole for the one hour segment of Chris's show - which can be heard between 4.00 and 5.00pm.

Chris Ashley said: "It's great to have John and Carole as our special guests - John even slipped into Boycie mode and tried to sell me a second-hand car!

"And Carole is nothing like John's Only Fools and Horses character wife Marlene. Carole is very tall, elegant, and sophisticated!"

Chris plays some of the Shropshire-based couple's favourite tracks by The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, The Bee Gees, Fleetwood Mac, The Move, and also some traditional carols.

John is currently in Aladdin at the Birmingham Hippodrome with Bobby Davro, and Only Fools and Horses fans can see John on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE as there's a "Trotter fest" over Christmas.

The Story of Only Fools and Horses is a documentary repeated from last year, featuring an interview with creator John Sullivan, and there's also a brand new episode Only Fools And Horses - Strangers on the Shore.

The Story of Only Fools and Horses is on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE, Friday 20 December, 8.30-9.30pm.

Only Fools And Horses - Strangers on the Shore is on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE, Christmas Day at 9.40pm.

Chris Ashley's Christmas Day Show is on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Shropshire, 96FM, Christmas Day, 2.00-5.00pm.
