Radio Derby to find Pub Quiz Champion in aid of Comic Relief
On
Friday 7 March, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Derby is on a mission to find the top
pub quiz team in Derbyshire and East Staffordshire - all in aid
of Comic Relief!
The
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ local radio station will visit a pub every hour between 9.00am
and 6.00pm to ask the regulars ten questions.
The
pub that answers all ten correctly - in the shortest possible time
- wins an engraved ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Derby/Comic Relief, Derwent Crystal
trophy.

Cornes, Managing Editor, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Derby says: "This is an
opportunity to raise awareness ahead of Comic Relief Day and have
a bit of fun.
"At
the same time the highly competitive pub quiz regulars can rise
to the challenge of live radio. The winning pub will have had to
work very hard for that trophy."
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½
Radio Derby wants to hear from pubs who think they can rise to the
challenge.
It's
free to enter but ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Derby will collect cash for Comic Relief
in the pubs that they visit on the day.

lucky pubs taking part will be announced on Andy Whittaker's Breakfast
