WM - more listeners tuning in
There
has been a huge jump in the number of listeners tuning into ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½
WM each week, according to the latest official figures released
today by RAJAR (Radio Joint Audience Research).
The
figures show that ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ WM has an audience of 373,000 each week -
that's an extra 100,000 listeners since the last quarter and 75,000
listeners when compared to a year ago.
The
station's share of listening in its catchment area is up to 9.3%
too - an increase of 3.1% on the last quarter, and 1.6% year on
year.
Keith
Beech, Managing Editor, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ WM, says: "We're very pleased that
people are returning to the station to hear what we have to offer.
"The
figures show we're in a strong position in the area, and with our
new schedule starting next month - when Adrian Goldberg takes over
the Breakfast Show - we look forward to building on these results
even further."
