Radiohead become Radio Heads


Radiohead to run ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ 6 Music for a week


UK rock band Radiohead are to run the digital radio station ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ 6 Music for a week at Christmas.


The band are to choose music, artists and programming throughout the week from Monday 22 December to Sunday 28 December.


All five members of the band will have complete access to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ archive searching for rare recordings, hidden gems and music documentaries -scrutinising nearly 1,200 pages of data with more than 7,000 artists to make their selection.


Radiohead will curate 6 Music under the heading The 6 Music Selector contributing to all areas of the output, guesting on programmes, co-presenting shows, selecting exclusive recordings and contributing website material.


Each selection will be presented by one of the band members and filters through the day's output giving an insight to the band and a special feel to the week's Christmas programming on 6 Music.
