 What's
Your Story?
Everybody
has a story - no matter where they live or what they've done with
their lives.
From
today (4 February 2004), Look North (6.30pm, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE,
East Yorkshire & Lincolnshire) will be encouraging local
residents to enjoy a few minutes of fame by randomly selecting them,
then making a short film about any aspect of their lives.
A different
film will be broadcast on the programme every Wednesday.
A location
is picked completely randomly from a lucky dip of every village,
town and city in the East Yorkshire & Lincolnshire region.
Once
a place name is selected then an individual from that location is
chosen using the electoral roll.
That
person will be approached by the Look North team to produce a short
film about their life. They are also asked to pick out the next
week's candidate.
Roger
Farrant, Output Editor, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Look North said: "The really exciting
thing about this new series is that we have no idea what we'll turn
up.
"It's
a bit like one of those lucky dips you get at children's parties.
"But
the basic concept is that everyone has a story to tell and something
interesting that's happened in their life - it's up to us to find
it."
So
if you live in East Yorkshire or Lincolnshire - it could be you
next!
