Ìý

Martina has been CEO of the Appeal since July 2000.

Notes to Editors

Ìý

Martina Milburn has built a career as a journalist and a charity executive.

Ìý

In 1993 she was appointed Chief Executive of ASPIRE, the spinal injuries charity.

Ìý

After turning that charity's fortunes around, she joined ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Children in Need in 2000 as Director and since then has helped raise more than £100 million for disadvantaged children in the UK.
