The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ won
11 out of 17 British Academy (Bafta) Television Awards at last night's
ceremony in London.

They included two awards for The Office - Best Comedy Performance and
Best Sitcom.
Ìý
In January this year The Office won two prestigious Golden Globe Awards
in Los Angeles.

Best Actress - Julie Walters, for Canterbury

Best Entertainment Performance - Jonathan Ross,
for Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE;

Best Comedy Performance - Ricky Gervais, for
The Office Christmas Special, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE;

Best Drama Serial - Charles II - The Power and the

Best Factual Series or Strand (Huw Wheldon award) -

Best Entertainment Programme or Series (Lew Grade award)

Best Situation Comedy - The Office Christmas Special,

Best Comedy Programme or Series - Little Britain,
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ THREE and ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ TWO.

In addition, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Political Editor Andrew Marr won the Richard
Dimbleby Award and ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE's Only Fools and Horses won the Radio
Times Audience Award.
