ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Five Live's entertainment
specialist Phil Williams will be presenting a special Christmas Day
programme... from his local pub.
Ìý
Phil Williams' Christmas Special is 90-minutes of festive frivolity
in which Phil will be joined by a host of celebrity mates from the world
of comedy and music.
There will be a comedy panel game as part of the show in which comedians
will pit their wits against each other.
Ìý
Dead Ringers star Jan Ravens and Bafta award winner Lee Mack
take on the might of Terry Alderton and stand-up comedian Lucy
Porter.
Ìý
Joining Phil to provide the music will be jazz funk
group Brand New Heavies who will play a selection of their best
songs and join in the festive celebrations.
Ìý
There will also be a two new up and coming singers
on the programme – Cassandra Fox and Corinne Bailey Rae,
both of whom are tipped for big things in the New Year.

Des Lynam is recording a special one off interview
in addition to his successful series Des Meets for the programme.
Ìý
Des - who has been joined over the past year by sporting
greats such as David Beckham, George Foreman and Frankie Dettori - will
be moving his thoughts away from sport and in keeping with the festive
season his guest will be none other than Father Christmas himself.
Ìý
Christian O'Connell will be dropping in to do
a pub-themed version of Fighting Talk and the rest of the Five Live
team will be taking part in a very special rendition of Band Aid's number
one hit Do They Know It's Christmas?
