Veteran comedian and broadcaster
Cyril Fletcher, who appeared on many ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ radio and television programmes
including ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE's That's Life, has died.

Former That's Life presenter Esther Rantzen paid tribute: "He
will be tremendously and fondly remembered by the millions who enjoyed
his odes and wit on That's Life.
Ìý
"He was an established and much loved figure when he joined us
and we were very lucky to have the pleasure of his company both professionally
and personally."

A ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ spokesperson said: "Cyril Fletcher appeared on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Television
from its earliest days at Alexandra Palace in the 1930s and made countless
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ radio and television appearances.

"He will be best remembered by many with great fondness for his
weekly contribution from the armchair on That's Life. Our thoughts are
with his family."
