"We are pleased that the group has concluded that there is no deliberate bias in our reporting of the European Union.

"However, we need to consider carefully their view that "there is a perception of cultural and unintentional bias" in some of our coverage.

"We agree that the subject of Europe is extremely complex and challenging and one where we need to review any weaknesses and develop a stronger creative response.

"The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ has an important responsibility to provide accessible, accurate and fair information and analysis on this subject to all our audiences.

"Helen Boaden, the new Director of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ News, will be chairing a group that will examine the report's findings in detail and will formulate a response to be presented to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Journalism Board and to the Board of Governors by the end of next month."
