ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Sport today announced that Gavin Emmett will join the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ MotoGP team for the 2005 MotoGP Championship.

Ìý

Emmett, who has previously worked on the world feed of MotoGP coverage, will join presenter Suzi Perry, and the commentary team of Steve Parrish and Charlie Cox, for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ coverage of all 17 rounds in 2005.

Ìý

Also, for 2005, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ can announce increased coverage of MotoGP on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Television.

Ìý

In addition to full coverage of every race on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ TWO, additional time has been allocated in the schedules to allow for increased build-up and features around the races themselves.

Ìý

For the first two races of the season, at Jerez and Estoril, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ will also have extended coverage and pre-race build-up on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½i - the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s interactive service available to digital viewers.

Ìý

Speaking about the 2005 season, Philip Bernie, Executive Editor, Grandstand says: "We're pleased that in our third year of broadcasting the MotoGP we're able to once again build on the previous year's success.

Ìý

"The addition of Gavin Emmett in the pit-lane and the additional features will help us further in communicating the thrill, excitement and expertise of MotoGP to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ viewers."

Ìý

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ coverage begins with a MotoGP preview on Sunday Grandstand (3 April, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ TWO, 1.35pm), followed by live coverage of the first round at Jerez on 10 April (ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ TWO, 12.35pm).
