Figures released today reveal a big rise in the number of people listening
to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Cymru.

The listening figures published by industry body RAJAR
show that 191,000 people listened to Radio Cymru each week during the
first three months of 2005.
Ìý
The increase of 60,000 on the previous quarter was the
largest for any radio station in Wales.
Ìý
RAJAR has revealed that, on average, listeners tune
in to Radio Cymru for a massive 14 hours each week.
Ìý
The figures also show an increase in listeners to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½
Radio Wales - rising to 442,000 each week - making it the most
popular of all the radio stations based in Wales.
