ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Wales and the FAW Premier Cup board have announced that Welsh football will benefit with the continuation of the tournament on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ for the 2005-06 season.

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Wales' offer was unanimously accepted by the FAW Premier Cup board and participating clubs at a meeting in Caersws.

Nigel Walker, Head of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Wales Sport, said: "I am delighted that the competition will continue to be shown on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Wales television.

"Last season's final between Swansea City and Wrexham in the last ever game at the Vetch rounded off a good season for the Cup, and we look forward to continuing our coverage of the competition."

FAW Premier Cup Chairman Dr Iain Skewis said: "The FAW Premier Cup will enter its ninth season stronger than ever, and we look forward to building on this in partnership with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Wales Sport."
