There has been a significant jump in the number of listeners tuning into ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Essex each week, according to the latest figures released today by RAJAR.

The figures show that 280,000 people listen each week - that's an extra 20,000 listeners in the Essex region, compared to last year.
Ìý
The daily reach for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Essex has also risen by more than three per cent to 15.6% - that is 184,000 listeners a day.

In addition, the audience share of the station has increased by a full three per cent to 15.7%.

Margaret Hyde, Managing Editor, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Essex, says: "As we approach our 20th year as the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Local Radio station serving Essex, we are absolutely delighted that our audiences have grown with us.
