ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ FOUR has won an IVCA Clarion Award 2005 in the Television Category for "promoting the effective communication of corporate social responsibility and cultural aspiration."

Held in London on 7 September, the citation for the award said: "ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ FOUR shows what public service broadcasting can really achieve - innovative programmes of the highest cultural standards. The content is sometimes brilliant, but always unique and thought-provoking."

In the Radio category, Radio 4 won for two radio plays written by Richard Monks, One Church.

Jury members included Roger Graef, Jane Featherstone, Nicolas Roeg, Jenny Agutter and Michael Billington.
