ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ WM presenters are hanging up their headphones to become what they want to be in aid of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Children in Need Appeal.

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ WM team is grabbing the chance to fulfil their childhood dreams to tie in with this year's ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Children in Need 2005 theme: 'Be What You Want To Be'.

Consumer king Ed Doolan has long been a Gilbert and Sullivan fan, so has decided to sing one of their classic songs - If You Give Me Your Attention - on his Mid-Morning Show (10.00am-1.00pm, Friday 18 November).

Breakfast Show reporter Cayte Walker is a long-time fan of Anneka Rice - so she is doing a treasure hunt devised by The Porsche Centre in Sutton Coldfield, which bolstered the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Children in Need coffers with its own treasure hunt earlier in the year.

Other members of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ WM team involved in the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Children in Need 'Be What You Want To Be' event include:

Paul Franks as a bus conductor, presenting his Friday show (4.00 to 6.00pm) live from a bus in Centenary Square in Birmingham city centre, as well as presenting his football phone-in live from 6.00 to 7.45pm in the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Public Space - dressed as a bus conductor.

Adrian Goldberg and Satnam Rana present the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Birmingham inserts on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE at 6.50pm, 7.50pm and 8.40pm dressed as Egyptians, following the theme in the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Public Space.

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Children in Need Bank is open in the Public Space in the Mailbox, allowing fundraisers to deposit their charity cash towards the annual charity event.

Ìý

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Birmingham Public Space is open till 11.00pm on Friday 18 November, allowing members of the public plenty of time to enjoy the Egypt exhibition currently on display to coincide with the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE series.

Other attractions include: Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and Simon Cowell lookalikes; the return of the popular Bollywood Dreams Dancers; inflatable sumo wrestling; cheese and wine tasting; live music from the Octave Tinkling Twosome, featuring X-Factor reject Althea Gaye; and face-painting for the young at heart.

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ shop and café are also open until 11.00pm on Friday 18 November.

People can drop in to enjoy the evening's entertainment and meet the face of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Children in Need, Pudsey Bear.
