Rory Bremner perfects his David Cameron impression for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ TWO's Mock the Week

Rory Bremner is busy perfecting his David Cameron impression for the new series of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ TWO's Mock the Week.

Ìý

Rory comments: "David Cameron worries me for two reasons: he's not very distinctive and he does Blair better than I do. And actually, better than Blair does.

Ìý

"Cameron's got it all: Blair's ideas, Mandelson's voice, Howard's smirk. Three impressions for the price of one."

Ìý

He continues: "2006 is bound to be a fascinating year for politics with Gordon Brown taking over from Tony Blair. Mind you I said that last year. Come to think of it, so did he."

Ìý

Mock the Week is the first programme to combine elements of a panel show with stand-up comedy, off-the-cuff games and role-play.

Ìý

It is hosted by Dara O'Briain with Rory Bremner and Hugh Dennis as team captains. Frankie Boyle completes the line-up of regulars.

Ìý

They are joined each week by top satirical comedians, established stars and exciting new talent from the best of the stand-up circuit.

Ìý

For the first programme of the new series on Friday 20 January 2006 at 10.00pm the guests are Jo Brand, Al Murray and John Oliver.
