ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Learning English, a division of the international radio and online broadcaster ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ World Service, will help Brazilians and English learners across the world to brush up on their English via a live webcast from Sao Paulo in Brazil.

Audiences can listen to the webcast - on Thursday 16 March at 1800 GMT - at bbclearningenglish.com/webcast and take part by sending comments and questions via email to talkaboutenglish@bbc.co.uk.Ìý

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Learning English team members, Anna Jones and Callum Robertson, will host the 45-minute audio webcast.

It will include discussions with teachers of English in Brazil, news from this year's carnival in Rio de Janeiro, a look at the stories making the headlines in local newspapers and entertainment from Brazilian musicians.

Anna Jones said: "Our weekly online webcasts are made even more special when they are on location.Ìý A few weeks ago we were in Cairo and now we are thrilled to be in Sao Paulo.

"It's a great opportunity to really engage with English language learners in Brazil.

"Brazilians, or anyone interested in learning English, can use the webcast to share any challenges they face trying to master the language, and we will give them useful practical advice.

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Learning English team will directly engage with Brazilian English language learners when they visit several universities and language institutions in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo and demonstrate how the bbclearningenglish.com website can benefit them.
