Bank Holiday has never been so much fun - ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ WM is joining forces with Brindleyplace and The Mailbox to host a musical extravaganza from noon to 5.00pm on Monday 1 May 2006.

Ìý

In Brindleyplace there will be a host of live music on the main stage, with everything from gospel to steel pans and Anglo Cuban Rhythm to rock.

Ìý

Chinese Lion Dancers and belly dancers will also be entertaining the crowd.

Ìý

Test your soccer skills with Birmingham City Football Club or visit the arts market while the kids use up their energy on the bouncy castle.

Ìý

There's even more live music at The Water's Edge to keep you entertained while you settle down for some refreshments.

Ìý

Throughout The Mailbox entertainment continues, with live music at three different locations, plus balloon modellers, face painters and stilt walkers keeping everyone in the Bank Holiday mood.

Ìý

If you get peckish, visit Café Moulin Rouge and sample free cheese and wine, presented by can-can dancers and showgirls.

Ìý

In the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Public Space, there's your chance to discover your hidden musical talents in free workshops for all ages with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

Ìý

Come and meet ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ WM presenters Danny Kelly, Daz Hale, Nikki Tapper and Jenny Wilkes, and look out for Loyd Williams who will be reporting live from the event throughout the afternoon.

Ìý

You can also find out about the new ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Birmingham TV service - and you might even end up on the telly!

Ìý

Organiser Jenny Wilkes said: "It's a great free family day out which has been really successful in the past and a good way of showcasing some of our local musical and dancing talent."
