David Thompson, Head of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Films, announced today that the award-winning producer
Christine Langan is to join ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Films.

Christine's recent credits include feature film Pierrepoint - directed by Adrian Shergold and starring
Timothy Spall - which had its world premiere at last year's Toronto Film Festival and forthcoming
feature film The Queen - directed by Stephen Frears and starring Helen Mirren - due to be released later
this year.
Ìý
She joined Granada in 1993 where she produced the multi-award winning Cold Feet.
Ìý
In 2003
she produced The Deal for Channel 4 which won a Bafta and in 2004 she produced Dirty Filthy
Love for ITV which won a Royal Television Society award.

Christine is joining ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Films as Producer/Executive Producer and will work alongside the current
Development team to originate a slate of new feature film projects in partnership with independent
producers.

Christine will start at ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Films at the beginning of September.
