I'd rather be a footballer than a singer, Robbie Williams tells Jonathan Ross
Robbie Williams reveals he chose the wrong career when he returns to the Jonathan Ross sofa tonight on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE.

Williams appears with football legend Terry Venables on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross to talk about their
forthcoming involvement as England team captain and manager respectively in
Soccer Aid.
Ìý
Robbie says: "I love football, I'm so
passionate about it, I'd rather be a footballer than a singer."
Ìý
And on his fitness: "I was shamed into starting the
training. I'd been out on a late one, switched the TV on to see Gordon Ramsay
finishing the marathon.
Ìý
"He's really competitive, a great fella, I want to be
him."
Ìý
Venables also talks about his ambitions to be a singer: "I'd like to have been
a singer, I sang with Joe Loss [but] they'd say, 'stick to the football'."
Ìý
And
his predictions for England's chances in the World Cup: "We've got a
magnificent group of players. Wayne Rooney is a big loss, but often when that
happens they [the team] don't feel they have to be known as a one-man team. I
think they can pull it off."

Jonathan also welcomes to the show William
Shatner, aka Captain James T Kirk, and British actor Paul Bettany, returning
to the big screen in The Da Vinci Code.
