ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Scotland is aiming to forge closer links with external organisations
following the appointment of Alex Gaffney as Partnerships and External Relations
Manager.

Alex, who was previously Sales and Marketing Manager for Resource Operations,
will play a key role in establishing partnerships.
Ìý
The appointment underlines ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Scotland's commitment to developing partnerships
with a wide range of organisations, from independent production companies to
schools and colleges.
Ìý
The role will also encompass building relationships with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Scotland's
neighbours at the broadcaster's new centre, Pacific Quay in Glasgow.

Alex said: "The role is about providing a line of communication between ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½
Scotland and independent production companies, fellow broadcasters and public
bodies seeking to partner with us - from colleges that may have ideas for
educational projects through to independents working on major productions.
Ìý
"Partnering with bodies in the industry and in the wider community is an
increasingly important priority for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Scotland."
