ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ TWO's hit business entertainment programme, immortalised by Sir Alan Sugar's famous catch phrase 'You're fired', is to move to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE when it returns in the New Year.

Following the runaway success of the first two series, The Apprentice - produced by talkbackTHAMES - will move to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ ONE while The Apprentice: You're Fired, the complementary show presented by Adrian Chiles, will move to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ TWO from ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ THREE.

The first series of The Apprentice transmitted from February 2005 drawing an average audience of 2.5 million and 11% share of the available audience, peaking at 3.8 million and 17% share for the final programme.

Series two, which transmitted from February 2006, gained an average audience of 4.4 million and 19% share, peaking at 6.0 million and 27% for the final show.
