Tender Time - indies get chance to bid for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ One's Question Time contract

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ is conducting a tender for the contract to produce ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ One's iconic current
affairs show Question Time.

The contract will be for three years from September 2007 and the tender is open to
independent producers who will make Question Time as a qualifying regional production.

Jana Bennett, Director, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Vision says: "Tenders like this one reflect the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s
commitment to creating a level playing field for independents by making the
commissioning process more transparent.

by being able to source the very best ideas."

Sue Inglish, Head of Political Programmes, said: "The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ is seeking proposals which
will take Question Time forward in the multi-platform future whilst retaining the
essential character of this highly-successful ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ One show."

The programme is currently produced by Mentorn and has an average audience of 2.5 million
and a share of 20%.
