ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Coventry and Warwickshire signs new City deal

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Coventry and Warwickshire has signed a new three-year deal with Coventry City FC, providing commentary for all the club's first-team league and cup matches up to 2011.

The renewed contract makes ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Coventry & Warwickshire the station of choice for all Sky Blues fans wanting to stay in tune with the Championship side's home and away matches and renews the long association between ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Local Radio and Coventry City FC which dates back to the Seventies.

Coventry City's Chairman Ray Ranson said: "We are delighted to be working with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Coventry and Warwickshire once again.

"The station has covered the club for several seasons and is a valued link between us and the football public through the region.

"The last fans' forum we ran in conjunction with the station went extremely well and we hope to be providing a season of excitement for Geoff Foster and Clive Eakin to report."

As well as live commentary on all the Sky Blues' competitive games for the next three seasons, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Coventry and Warwickshire will broadcast three fans' forums giving supporters the opportunity to question the key figures at The Ricoh Arena.

The popular Sky Blues Interactive programme returns on Friday 8 August, ahead of the first game of the new season on Saturday 9 August.

Sky Blues Interactive gives fans the chance to air their views on Friday nights between 6 and 8pm and then again between 5 and 6pm on Saturdays straight after the game. Ìý
