ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Workplace appoints Gavin Lewis as new Finance Director

Gavin Lewis has been appointed to the new post of Finance Director for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Workplace, the division responsible for the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s corporate property portfolio.

Lewis left his position as Finance Director for UK property developers Stanhope plc this summer, and takes up his new position today (1 September 2008).

Chris Kane, Head of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Corporate Real Estate, said: "I am delighted to have Gavin on the management team. His knowledge and experience in formulating and implementing corporate and financial strategy will be invaluable at a time when we are seeking to operate the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s estate effectively to deliver the best value for money for the licence fee payer."

Gavin graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge in 1995 with a BA Honours degree in Economics.
Ìý
He trained with Price Waterhouse as a Tax Manager, primarily in Mergers and Acquisitions. From there he joined MEPC where he became Head of Corporate Finance, and then moved to Multiplex Developments as Treasurer and UK Group Controller.

He joined Stanhope in October 2006.
