ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Carleton Hobbs Bursary Award Winners 2025
Two 2025 Carleton Hobbs bursaries have been awarded to:
SASHA MCCABE (Bristol Old Vic Theatre School)
DJANGO BEVAN (Mountview)
They will join the Radio Drama Company on Saturday 26th July 2025.
Five finalists receive runners-up awards - and we hope each of them will be cast as a freelance actor in one of our upcoming productions productions:

JESSE NYAKUDYA (Italia Conti)
LEE HUGHES (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland)
The event this year was arranged in two Stages. In Stage One, seventeen accredited Drama schools and colleges took part - a total of 68 students. And of those, fourteen Colleges advanced to Stage Two with a pair of students each – a total of 28 students.
Chaired by Clare Ewing, RDC Co-ordinator, the judges comprised producer Sue Roberts, actor Christopher Harper and agent Tom Dale.
Many congratulations to all finalists and especially to Sasha and Django with whom we look forward to working in the summer.
