Physical travel is difficult for many of us at the moment but it is now possible to explore some parts of the world from the comfort of your own home.

The Radiophonic Travel Agency is a new audio and visual experience from the New 蜜芽传媒 Radiophonic Workshop which has been working with 蜜芽传媒 Research & Development to transport you to other locations through the power of sound.

This journey is not designed to be rushed. Some of the field recordings allow you to soak up the atmosphere for hours at a time. All you need is a set of speakers or a pair of headphones and you can take your first trip by clicking the play button below.

The Radiophonic Travel Agency is looking for contributions from sound recordists of immersive and characterful recordings, particularly those which are long enough to spend time with and get lost in. Multiple recordings from different areas of a single location are also very useful, giving listeners the agency to explore.
