Does a Scottish museum hold the key to a real-life Jurassic Park?

9 July 2019

The idea of dinosaurs roaming the earth, as they did millions of years ago, is usually the preserve of fantastical storylines — like those of the Jurassic Park franchise.

But what if there really is a chance of making that fantasy a reality?

Insects like these can be found in The National Collection Centre in Granton, which houses some of the Scottish National Museum’s artworks and artefacts.
