To submit your ideas including a short video, please use our online platform, WhatsApp or social media platforms. If we think your idea is something we would like to take further, we will contact you to discuss.

What personal data will ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ collect and how will we use it?
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ will use your personal data provided via our online form, WhatsApp or social media channels for the purposes of considering your ideas/contribution and to contact you.
Personal data:
You must be 18 years or older to make any submissions. Please be mindful not to include others in your video.
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ will collect and process the following personal data about you:
• Your first name
• Your telephone number
• Your email address
• Your location (where you live and where you are from)
• Year of birth
• Topic you are interested in (video recording)
• Content area (video recording or written)
• Your social media handles
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ may also process special category data depending on the content of your submission to us. This might include for example:
• Racial or ethnic origin
• Political opinions
• Trade union membership
• Religious or philosophical beliefs
• Health
• Sexual orientation
Who is the Data Controller?
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ is the “data controller” of your personal data. This means that the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ decides what your personal data is used for, and the ways in which it is processed. For the avoidance of doubt, your personal data will be collected and processed solely for the purposes set out in this privacy notice. As the data controller, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ has the responsibility to comply, and to demonstrate compliance with, data protection law.
Lawful basis for processing your personal data
The lawful basis on which the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ processes the personal data is the performance of its public task. The lawful basis on which the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ processes your special category data is substantial public interest. Sharing your personal data
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ works with our approved third-party providers who help us to provide some of our services. These partners only use your personal data on behalf of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ and not independently of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½. We use a third-party data storage platform to collect and store your form and video.
We may share personal data with a third party where required or permitted by law.
Retaining your personal data
Your personal data will be retained for twelve (12) months, after which it will be deleted.
If your contribution is used for broadcast, your personal data will be retained and archived in perpetuity by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½.
Your personal data will be processed and stored in UK and the EEA (European Economic Area).
Your rights and more information
You have rights under data protection law:
• You can request a copy of the personal data ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ stores about you.
• If your personal data is inaccurate, you have the right to have the data rectified.
• You have the right to ask for the personal data we collect about you to be deleted, however there are limitations and exceptions to this right which may entitle the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ to refuse your request.
• In certain circumstances, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data or to object to the processing of your personal data.
• You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal data to you or to another organisation, in certain circumstances.
