Friends of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ NOW

Supporting the work of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ National Orchestra of Wales to enable the widest access as possible to the Nation’s symphony orchestra.

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ National Orchestra of Wales (ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ NOW) plays a vital role in nurturing the next generation of musical talent and broadening access to orchestral music across the country where social, economic or geographical barriers may limit access to musical opportunities.

For many, these initiatives provide the first opportunity to hear or participate in live orchestral performances, whether in schools, community spaces, or areas where orchestral music is rarely heard. By bringing music to these underserved areas, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ NOW is enriching the cultural landscape and fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts regardless of race, background, gender, sexuality and/or disability.

Established in 1997, The Friends Of The National Orchestra Of Wales is a registered charity (Charity Number: 1062645) that supports ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ NOW’s ongoing work in Education and in Communities. With a board of four Trustees, The Friends Of The National Orchestra Of Wales raises awareness and funds to enable ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ NOW’s education work.

Funding is sought through grants, donations, major gifts and legacies. If you would like to find out more information or make a donation please contact friendsofÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½NOW@bbc.co.uk
