Very few of us living in the British Isles have any idea that our waters contain 33 species of shark. Even the Great White Shark has been allegedly sighted off the Cornish Coast.

Richard Peirce sets out from the Cornish port of Looe in order to catch some of our British sharks - in conjunction with the World Wild Life Fund who are sponsoring a catch and release tagging scheme, designed to help save our British sharks from extinction.

5/5. The Scottish Story

Richard travels to the most northerly part of the British Isles, in search of Britain's own giant manta ray, the common skate, which has a gargantuan appetite.
