Eight young adventurers trek fifty miles across the world's oldest desert, on a mission to help endangered black rhinos. The team struggle to acclimatise to the intense desert heat, and a tough mountain trek almost leads to disaster. Lunch includes some less than appealing local bugs, while two lucky team members have their first encounter with a rare black rhino.
