Sophie introduces her pretend friend Tosey (a sock on Sophie's hand) to Todd, Stella and Pickle. While Todd and Stella grasp right away that a sock can be a pretend friend, Pickle has trouble grasping the concept.
Todd and the other kids work with Pickle to help him comprehend and accept Tosey as a playmate. In the end, Pickle not only accepts Tosey, but cleverly incorporates her in his playtime by making her his partner in a game of Hide and Seek.
