Patrick Kielty unveils the ‘nations cup of quizzes’ in a brand new format which pitches England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales against one another in an epic event where national pride is at stake.

Celebrity captains Phil Tufnell and Myleene Klass, Dennis Taylor and Zoe Salmon, Ally McCoist and Carol Smillie, Colin Jackson and Sian Lloyd lead the four nations through two hours of general knowledge battle. But they won’t be playing alone. Also part of the team is the home audience, who can help their nation to victory and help themselves to some fantastic prizes.

In studio, each celebrity couple will also be backed by a team of fifty people and led by their nation’s ‘number one player’. Everyone has to perform well if their country is to win and be crowned Your Country Needs You Champions 2007.
